Thank you for your prayers for our women's retreat! Despite our last minute running around and our exhaustion, God came and did abundantly more than we could have imagined.
We had great hang out time and were able to discuss finding true contentment in the Lord. We used Phil. 3:7-11 to press into what girls put their identity, hope, and contentment in. Many GT girls (and myself included) put so much hope in their careers and resumes. So it was great to talk through Paul's incredible credentials and how he gave it all up and counted it as rubbish for the sake of knowing Christ. The Lord fueled great discussions with girls and created community among these hungry women.
Thanks for your hand in influencing these women through prayer. Praise God for hearing our pleas and His faithfulness.
This week I'm really praying that all of the women I've gotten to know will make wise and sacrificial decisions to run hard after God no matter what they're doing this summer. Some are staying at home, others taking classes or working internships. But in all, please pray with me that they would make strategic decisions choosing to put their spiritual growth before comfort, security, and ease. Pray that even if they are going on SBP too that their time at home would not be wasted spiritually. Please pray this for: Addie, Kristin, Lauren, Lauren, Kelsey, Bethany, Sam, MK, Meghan, Megan, Marisa, Katherine, Lawton, Katelyn and Hallee.
Ultimately I just want them to know the Lord more fully, so please join with me in asking God to draw them to Himself and that they'd do whatever it takes to follow Him!

1. Women's Retreat: As our Tech women's retreat is next weekend let's pray that God would make the Gospel clear to these GT women, that God would build Christ-centered community among these women, that we would embrace our Biblical design as women, that He'd do supernatural things in the lives of these women, and that God would provide a lake house for us to have our retreat at
2. SBP decisions: SBP applications are due this Thursday so please pray with me that students would make investing in the walk with God their first priority, that God would guide and change hearts, that I would trust God's sovereignty in where He'd have people this summer
3. SBP jobs: Since all our staff guys are down in Daytona this week setting up jobs for our students this summer, please join with me in praying that these men would show Christ to these businesses, that God would provide favor with potential employers, that our Father would already be preparing the hearts of those our students with work and share with this summer
4. Perspective/endurance: That God would continue to provide energy and enthusiasm for doing ministry with Tech women, that He'd continue to show me how everyday things are eternal, that I'd know it is the Spirit working in women and not myself
